3 glam looks for celeb hair
Save money on a salon trip by following these tips from celebrity hair stylist and Aussie Haircare ambassador Liz Taw.
The detailed bun, as seen on Diane Kruger
1. Blow dry in some Aussie curl defining + shine mousse to get the right tousled texture and natural shine.
2. Divide hair roughly with fingers from ear to ear. Put the back in a low ponytail, divide the pony in half then twist and wrap around the elastic and pin into a bun.
3. Divide the front section in two from the natural parting, halve them and twist back.
4. Loop into the bun and secure with curby grips.
5. Finish with a beautiful hair accessory.
Savvy tip: This look works with anything soft, frilly and feminine, and provides a perfect balance for glitzy accessories.
The big bun, as seen on SJP
1. Apply Aussie Aussome volume mousse to the hair and blow dry upside down for extra volume. You can also spray little texturising spray into the front for extra lift and texture.
2. Brush the sides tight, leaving height in the top and secure hair into a ponytail. Use a tail comb to lift the top a little.
3. Pin a thick hair extension under the ponytail, divide in two and twist a few times.
4. Wrap and weave into an architectural shape and secure with large u-pins, leaving room to twist and pin your own hair into the shape and cover the base of the extension.
5. Use Aussie Aussome volume hair spray and a blusher brush to polish the bun.
Savvy tip: This is high octane Oscar glamour and only works with the most glamorous gown.
The high fashion bun, as seen on Nicole Richie
1. Spray the hair with Aussie hi-hold hi-shine hair spray as you go and combing very tight on the sides.
2. Fasten a ponytail on the apex of your head.
3. Mist a wide-tooth comb with hair spray and comb up towards the elastic, leaving comb marks for an editorial edge.
4. Spray the ponytail generously with more hair spray and wrap into a bun.
5. Secure with large u-pins.
Savvy tip: A strong fashion. The angle and shine exude attitude, and this bold/unfussy hair works well with a high fashion outfit.
