1. Buy a piece of rump steak that is dark in colour.
2. Lay it out and cover with cling film, use a rolling pin to beat it until thin.
3. Rub olive oil on the steak, grind over black pepper and sea salt.
4. Heat a griddle pan until hot and put your steak in.
5. Turn over when nice and crusty on the bottom.
6. Cook on the second side until it is crusty and deep brown.
7. Turn over until the steak is cooked to your liking, which will take minutes.
8. Rest for 5 minutes before serving.
