Childrens Tights re-use

When my daughter was walking for the first time, her skirts showed her nappy and jeans/ cords would drag the nappy down. So one day while sorting out her tights, the ones that were too short in the legs but not worthy to be passed on to charity, but the top of the tights were perfect (the elastic that is), so I cut the tights just above the knee and she was able to wear them over the nappy like a pair of shorts but with sooo much more support and freedom to run etc. Thelma xxx
