Getting going in the morning

Feeling sluggish, stiff or aching in the morning, do a quick massage from head to toe sitting on the bed. Then get up and stretch your calf muscles and hamstrings (back of thighs) by putting your heel on the bed and bending the opposite leg. Then stretch your arms up to the ceiling, bring them down and swing them forwards and backwards a few times. Follow this with a few imaginary hoola hoops, drink a glass of cold water and you are ready to go.
