Getting messy with kids

I have 3 younger children so there are times when we need to have some messy fun. I went to the supermarket a bought a large plastic table cloth. It is bigger than a babies messy mat and stronger too. I put it on the floor and I then get out the paints and play dough. This way they can get as messy as they want and they wont ruin any of your carpet. It is also very good for doing some cooking with them as well.
