Better than Daz

I used to use Daz but then my boyfriend said let's think about changing our powder. I did some extensive research and this came out on top for making whites white and cost per wash. I love it. It's much better than Daz. I always buy when it's on offer in supermarket so have a constant supply.

Actilift built in - great cleaning power

My youngest daughter will continuously play in the garden with just her socks on and they end up filthy! I can't change her playing habits but I have changed my regular washing powder to Ariel Actilift as it's the only one that gets rid of the grass and mud stains completely. Great product, smells nice too.

Great product, good price

I really like this, as it works excellently on everything from lacy shirts to big, chunky towels. I haven't found anything going that nasty grey-white colour and I can do this on just the normal express wash. The only thing it doesn't do is get rid of stains easily, but I use the Actilift Gel for that. It also smells really fresh, but not overpowering, which is good.

Ariel Actilift

I love the smell of this and found it did make my whites 'whiter than white'. It is disappointing though on dried in stains such as blood (nosebleed) or muddy paw prints (why does my cat always jump on my freshly laundered sheets!!) I buy it in bulk when its on offer so think i'ts excellent value and i would definately recommend it.

I always use this brand as i find it does a good job in removing stains & i also have sensitive skin & find this product does not cause me any problems. The only downside is that when you get near the end of the bottle you have a job to try & squeeze the last amount out & i usually have to take it apart!!!!!

Good staff.

LIke it for the smell and action to remove dirt. I got 5Ł off cupon from Proctle and Gamble thank you for it so the powder cost me really not much. I am very pleased with using it but bit dissapointed about the fealing clothes after dry them on loundry rail, they were a bit hard in touch do not know why, but maybe i put too much powder or my waschmachine not rinse it properly, but with Ariel feebreze i hasnt got this problem, and i Think Ariel Feebreze is much better.

Bit disappointed

Have to agree to a certain extent with oxyaction. Being Italian, we use quite a lot of Pasta sauce. It doesnt remove it at ANY temperature - none of my family can. The smell IS out of this world though, I love it, but whats the good in the smell if it doesnt clean the clothes properly? In Italy, Proctor and Gamble have a proper clothes bleach called ACE - but its not the gentle one, its the real McCoy! You pop a drop in the washing machine and hey presto, the sauce is removed. The ingredients keep changing too, I also remember not having a problem 6/7 years ago, but now its virtually impossible. Claims to remove Mud and Rust from cottons - who has mud and rust on their clothes these days apart from some kids? And whats their Ariel stain remover all about? It doesnt really work any better than just using the detergent alone, are they admitting that Ariel detergent alone isnt good anymore? I rest my case.

Fantastic at removing all manner of tricky stains - grass,mud, make-up and even tomato pasta sauce. My son's white and red football kit also came clean at a 40 wash. My only criticism is that although it does leave your clothes smelling fresh i much prefered the small of ariel a few years ago, before they changed the fragrance ( i think the colour powder still has the 'old' smell!).

Works for me!

I have tried most powders and stuck with Persil for a long time. HOWEVER, Ariel is great. I have a 5 year old son who plays football and rolls in the mud at school and Ariel is doing the job. It is often on offer in my local Supermarket as well, plus they take the coupons on top of this. BARGIN!

WOULD RATHER DO WITHOUT IF I COULD NOT BUY FAIRY!!!!!

I have two sons,aged 20&8yrs old,i have used Fairy for everything-e.g;-for my dishes,my washing&dishwasher(which i no longer have).I have used Fairy since i had my 1st son in 1992,i have occasionally tried other products,but none compare,especially having2boys,who play football&a partner.i tell everyone i know about Fairy,they say its2expensive..i say,u get what u pay for.!!!

Clean and Fresh

Ariel with actilift not only removes stains it also refreshes your clothes at amazing low temperatures. I tried other brands they just dont do the job as well as Ariel, I love it. When my babies were tiny and they got food and other stains on their clothes I used so many different washing powders the only one that completely removed all the stains was Ariel.

Good.. BUT

I have noticed small blue "blobs" of stain on some of my cotton whites, it is from the blue specks in the powder & I now cannot get these marks out! Despite using a whitener in the wash!

It does what it says on the packet

It does work at low temperature and it may cost a little more but that is made up by not needing other cleaning products and washing at 30 degrees.

Very good at what it claims to do. I would recommend this to anybody who washes clothes! Now Im back to my washing machine. Putting in my whites and colours separately.Yes its a very good wash . All clean and airy.I think I will use Ariel from now on into the future.You can buy it in most supermarkets and shops.Thank you for a lovely spin cycle.
