If this is your first time printing coupons you will be prompted to download a Coupon Printer application. This is a small application that will reside on your hard drive and enable you to print offers directly from our site. It will not collect or store any information, nor will it interfere with your other programs.
The coupon printer helps Procter & Gamble to manage the overall distribution and security of coupons and offers in circulation. Better security enables us to continue to pass on great savings to you.
If you are experiencing problems installing the Coupon Printer there may be a few reasons:
1. You may not have permission to download programs on your computer or you are using software that blocks the installation. If you are trying to print coupons at work or from a computer at a library, Internet cafe or university, you may not have permission to download and install programs onto the computer you are using. This may be true even if you've downloaded and installed other files. Contact your network administrator for more information. If you have a home computer, you may find it easier to access our coupons there.
You might also be running software that prevents installation on your computer. While we have attempted to work with most of the major publishers of such software to ensure that our Coupon Printer is not blocked, there may be programs that block the installation, or put up a warning that you are about to install a program. You should choose to allow the installation. The Coupon Printer contains no Spyware or Mal-ware. 2. The security settings in your browser are set too high If you receive warnings or errors that an attempt to install and ActiveX control (Internet Explorer) or a plug-in was blocked, or are asked for permission to install a program, you may need to change your browser's security settings to allow installation of these types of controls. Also, make sure to click the appropriate buttons in any dialog boxes that appear to allow the installation. Modern browsers make you jump through a few hoops to install plug-ins, but it's worth it!
3. Your operating system or browser is incompatible Coupon printing is currently supported on Windows 98, NT4, 2000, ME, XP, Vista and Windows 7 when used with Internet Explorer 5+, Netscape 7+, FireFox 1.0.7+, Google Chrome, Opera and most MSN and AOL browsers. Coupon printing is also supported on Macintosh when using Safari or FireFox under OS X 10.3, 10.4 & 10.5. Snow Leopard will be supported in the coming months. Coupon printing is not supported on Linux or WebTV.

NOTE: This is a common problem for users of Internet Explorer 8. After you install the coupon printer, click on the "click here" link to continue printing. When you see the yellow box at the top of your window, click on "Add-on disabled > Run Add-on". You may have to do this on the next page that tells you your coupons are printing.
If you've already gone through the print flow, try printing the coupons again and click on the "Add-on disabled > Run Add-on" item from the yellow box at the top of your window.
There are a few things you will want to check before printing your coupons. First, make sure that your printer is "On" and has plenty of paper. If the printer is "Off" or runs out of paper, it can disrupt the coupon printing process.
If your printer is "On" and you have plenty of paper, check to see that the coupon printer installed properly. If you are on a PC, go to Start in the lower left of your computer screen, click on "Control Panel", and click "Add or Remove Programs." If you are using Microsoft Vista, click on "Programs and Updates." Check the list to see if "Coupon Printer for Windows" is listed. If it is not, it means that the printer did not install correctly. If you are using a Mac, click on your hard drive icon and search for Coupon. Click here to try installing again.

Yes, you can! Mac users can install the Mac coupon printer. Please note that we currently do not support Mac OS 10.6 (Snow Leopard), but our engineers are working hard to resolve this and we urge you to keep trying.
If your printer was off, you can turn your printer on and try again. If you have already tried to print more than once, you may have reached your personal printing allowance. Unfortunately, we are not able to reset this coupon limit.
We set per person limits for each coupon. These limits are set in an effort to reduce fraud. We are unable to reset these limits for customers.
In addition to the per person limits, manufacturers also place a cap on the number of coupons that can be printed in total. You will receive an error that says the print reached its limit.
Some of our coupons have the option for you to receive your coupons by post. If the coupon you are trying to print has this option (a link which states, "Don't have a printer?"; you will be presented with a form to enter your postal address. If you do not see this option, we are not able to send the coupon to you via postal or electronic mail.
For some coupons, we have chosen to offer postal mailing of coupons. If the coupon you are trying to print has this option, you would have been presented with a form to enter your postal address via a link "Don't have a printer?". If you did not see this option, we are not able to send the coupon to you via postal or electronic mail.

All major UK grocery retailers have assured us that their corporate policy is to accept Internet-printable coupons and that they've actively communicated this down to store level. That said, Store Managers do still retain the ability to reject a coupon(s) at their discretion, this may be because they have adopted their own policy for a variety of other reasons (i.e. print quality and so on). Couponstar distributed coupons (being consumer-printed) are subjected to higher level of scrutiny and despite widespread acceptance, we do see some low level incidences of rejection (less than 1%).
Retailers will not accept your coupon if:
- you have not purchased the product for which it is intended
- it is photocopied
- the barcode is unreadable or missing
- the coupon has been manipulated in any way
If you had had a problem redeeming your coupon, please give us the details of the store so that we can contact them about your incident. Report the incident on
SafeCoupons.co.uk
Most Couponstar SafeCoupons are redeemable in major grocery retail outlets. To see a list of stores
click here. In some instances, the coupon will have details of store specific offers, i.e. the coupon can be used in a specific retailer or outlet only. These coupons will not be accepted by any other retailer so to avoid any embarrassment at the checkout, use retailer specific coupons only in the outlet which it is specified for.
There are a few reasons why a retailer would reject your coupons:
- The coupons have expired
- The coupons appear to be photocopied
- The coupons have been manipulated
- You have not purchased the item for which the coupon is intended
- The coupon is specific to another retailer
In some stores the manager may have implemented a policy to not accept printable coupons. If this is the case, please let us know by
clicking here and completing the contact form.
We will take whatever information you provide us about the incident directly to the store manager and send out a Retailer Education Pack to the store.
