overrated
I am a very practical person, rather like 'penedawn', and use more practical methods of odour removal. I use essential oils in my vacuum bag, the match in the toilet, open all the windows and let the draught/breeze clear the smell whilst cleaning the offending object, thereby tackling the odour at source. We are big smokers in my house, so the smell first thing in the morning, eughw! Wash the ashtrays, and open the windows this soon eliminates most smells. A carpet is a big offender of house smells, so keep that as clean as posasible, wash/launder the curtains, it's surprising how airborne aromas cling to soft furnishings. However, in the colder weather, when I'ts not conducive to comfort, I would and do use products such as these, and I can't think of a better one than Febreze, for clearing smells, and leaving a nice smell but the smell isn't really neccessary. So I'll jhust sit on the fence then, shall I? lol
