Try something new with your makeup – the korean look!

Recently, Korean style “Oru-chan” (beautiful face) makeup, where eyes are made to look big and watery, has become popular with younger girls in Japan. The look is not natural, but it’s not over the top either. It’s cute. In other words, it’s a way to make yourself look younger!

This “Oru-chan” look is not difficult to achieve if you know a few key techniques. Why not try it? Just be careful not to make yourself look too childish.
First, for Korean women, beautiful skin is a must. Any skin problems must be completely covered to create beautiful skin before starting to apply makeup.

Eyebrows are the most important feature
Generally, eyebrows should be straight and thick. Do not create a peak. Draw the brows flat and thick with a slight downward angle at the ends. If the lines are made too sharp, they will be too outstanding. The eyebrows should fade out.

Eyeline is the next key
The signature mark of the “Oru-chan” look is big, wide eyes. Draw the eyeline starting from the inside corner of the eye and extend it beyond the outer corner. It is essential to make a thick, dark line.
There are two patterns that can be used at outside corners. One is a slightly downward line, and the other is a slightly upward “cat-like” line. Choose the one that works best for you. Whichever you choose, though, use brown or grey eyeshadow to create a natural shadow where there is no actual eye from the outer corner of the eye to the tip of the eyeline. This will give you perfect, big, long-silted eyes

Bags under your eyes to make them look watery
It is vital to emphasize the bags under your eyes. If you don’t have any, create them using eyeshadow. Apply pearly white or light pink eyeshadow thickly from the inner corners of the lower eyelids to about 1/3rd of the eye width.

The lower eyelids (bags under the eyes) need to be emphasized, but be sure to brighten the upper lids using orange, gold, beige, etc., and make them glossy. In addition, be careful not to use outstanding blush and lipstick. Make them glossy and natural.
To finish off this look, use colored contact lenses to make you iris appear larger. Now you have the “Oru-chan” look!
