Olay Total Effects Wake Up Wonder

Q1: As I get older, my skin is getting drier with some greasy areas. Can you recommend a solution for my combination skin?
A: 'All skin types need moisture whatever our age, so even if skin is slightly oily in places don't skip on hydrating products, especially if overall your skin is getting drier. However, to avoid greasy patches, stay away from rich heavy creams and opt for a lightweight daily moisturiser designed to provide hydration and anti-ageing in one, such as Olay Total Effects Wake up Wonder RRP £11.99. Alternatively, try layering a serum underneath your favourite moisturiser. Olay serums have high levels of hydration without the heavy emollients and softeners found in more luxurious creams.'

Olay Regenerist Eye SerumQ2: Since becoming a mum I have been suffering with puffy eyes and dark circles. What is the solution?
A: 'When life is hectic it can show on your skin. Start off by making sure you hydrate your skin – this will boost overall radiance and even out your skin tone. Then, I'd recommend using an eye cream or serum applied with a gentle massage technique - this will reduce puffiness and the appearance of dark circles. Furthermore, opt for one with light reflecting particles to further disguise dark under eyes - try Olay Regenerist Eye Serum RRP £21.95, it has golden tones of mica, which reflect light and add radiance, whilst the anti-ageing ingredients hydrate the delicate eye area.'

Olay Total Effects Blemish Care Moisturiser

Q3: I have really dry skin yet suffer from bad breakouts. Can you recommend a non-drying spot treatment?
A: 'Many women are in search of a product that caters for dry skin and blemishes. Firstly, make sure you are using the right cleanser. For you I'd recommend a daily cleanser that has gentle exfoliating properties. If you prefer a cream cleanser then combine this with a separate exfoliating product and use it 1 or 2 times a week. As for moisturiser, look out for ingredients like salicylic acid, also known as b-hydroxy or BHA, which is great on blemishes and dry skin as long as it's combined with sufficient hydrating properties. Try Olay Total Effects Blemish Care Moisturiser RRP £12.35 and use it consistently. If blemishes persist, seek out additional advice from your Doctor.'

Olay RegeneristQ4: I have 'ageing' brown spots on my skin. How can I get rid of these?
A: 'Brown Spots are the result of an over production of melanin in a concentrated area of the skin and can make the skin appear older. The most important thing you can do is to protect skin effectively in the sun by switching to daily moisturiser with SPF30 and efficient UVA protection - apply twice a day for 4-8 weeks. Also, when choosing a moisturiser, look out for ingredients like Vitamin B3 that have been shown to reduce hyperpigmentation. For visible results, I would recommend Olay Regenerist Flawless Skin Cream (SPF30) RRP £30.63 combined with Olay Regenerist Daily 3 Point Treatment Cream RRP £29.99 at night. Both have high levels of moisture and Vitamin B3. If it's a severe case seek further advice from a qualified Dermatologist.'
