Family Life Hacks

From adding colour dots to your children’s clothing to pegging odd socks on the landing and washing your Lego in the dishwasher… Here are some of our top life hacks

At Supersavvyme we’re always looking for the little tips, shortcuts and inspirations you use every day to make life easier and save us a bit of time – after all getting back even five minutes during the day is a bonus!

Recently one of our favourite bloggers – Nadine Hill from JuggleMum gave us a couple of her top tips and the amazing BritMums community have shared some of their life hacks.

We picked some of our favourites to share with you.

Tips from Nadine Hill from JuggleMum

To make laundry day easier, get two wash baskets: one for whites & one for colours then get the family to put their clothing in the relevant bin when they take it off.  This way your washing is pre-sorted and you can easily see when you have enough of one colour to fill the machine!

For children's parties, print a 'Thank you for coming to my party and for the gift' note and place inside each party bag to save you having to write notes afterwards.  When the children are older of course, they can write their own 'Thank you' notes!

Add dots to the labels of your children’s’ clothes. 1 dot for the first, 2 dots for the second... Makes it a lot easier sorting out clothes after wash day.

Love these tips! My best one is putting all the small pieces from a board game into a zip up pencil case. Years later we still have all the monopoly!!
