A Clean Sweep

Millie, Badly Drawn Mum

The pregnancy hormones are definitely kicking in.  I feel a strong urge to clean.  Not just tidying and dusting but REALLY clean.  I feel like some sort of robot with laser vision, who can spot the TINIEST bits of dirt invisible to the human eye.  It came to a head yesterday when the kids discovered me in the bathroom scrubbing the grouting with a toothbrush. It was obviously so out of character that Tom burst into tears.  Evie immediately sprung into Big Sister Mode and tried to comfort him.  “Don’t worry Tom, Mum’s not mad. We just need a Housekeeper.  Shall we get one Mum?”
