Winning by Whatever Means Necessary

Millie, Badly Drawn Mum

I’ve lost the power to get cross. Once a genuine skill, it’s utterly vanished. Example: Dave and I are having a ‘discussion’ about who more deserves a lie-in this weekend. Anyway, I was getting slightly het up by the injustice of it, and told him to “go straight to bed without any supper.” Oh dear. On the plus side, Dave collapsed into laughter – argument averted. And I got the lie-in.
