Introducing our Homesavvy Gurus!

Introducing our Homecare Gurus!

Take a look and see who makes up our home expert panel…

We asked for your help in selecting our first ever panel of Homecare Gurus and you certainly didn’t disappoint. We were inundated with so many fantastic applications it’s been hard to select just 10 people but….we, just like our readers, we had a job to do so we knuckled down to it

Keep an eye on our new articles each month, as they will include reviews from our gurus; providing their honest opinions on a variety of different cleaning products, so you can find out exactly how each product performs.

Here’s our ten Gurus and additions to the Homesavvy team:

Alleyne White

Running my own business doesn’t leave me with much spare time, but when I do have some I can usually be found in the swimming pool!

I was also once in a TV show for Channel 4 where they flew us out to the Maldives!

Amanda Warne

I’ve recently become a mum for the first time to my beautiful daughter Summer, since then I don’t seem to have a spare minute and am always rushing around.

I recently took Summer to play group only to realise I was still wearing my pyjama top on!

Amy White

My free time mainly revolves around looking after my 2 young boys, shopping, eBay and I love playing Sims 3 when I get a spare moment to play it!

A few years ago, before I had my boys, my partner and I went to a nightclub for a friend’s birthday party. As we were leaving I fell down the steps and landed straight on my face in front of the bouncers and our all our friends!

I decided, as my New Year's resolution, to start running regularly (as I was completely out of shape after my daughter was born) so embarked on the NHS 'couch to 5k plan'.

Well, now I'm completely hooked and have just signed up for my first 10k race in July!!

David Nichols

I enjoy spending time with friends and family which might involve having everyone over for a stew cooked in my slow cooker (life saver) – perhaps not expected from your average 24 year old bloke!

Fiona Ryan

I'm a true home girl and love holding dinner and children’s parties. I love cooking!

I'm quite good at decorating our home but, the latest project of painting our bathroom navy and lime green didn't quite go to plan!

I am very lucky to have a beautiful daughter who is my boss - we went to the Doctor's the other day for her annual check-up she asked the doctor if there was anything he could do for "Mummy's Jelly belly"

Liz Stein

My two little boys keep me on my toes and busy but, when I do get a spare minute I keep busy with my allotment.

My two boys make me laugh daily, but the other day I slipped over in the back garden whilst gathering in my boys' toys. I didn't think it was funny as I'd sat right in a big puddle but Charlie (nearly 3) thought it was hilarious, so we entertain each other!

Natalie McDermott

I love to cook and bake - it's my way of winding down from work.

A few years ago I entered a cookery competition which I managed to win! The experience was amazing because we got to cook at Leith's School of Food and Wine which was very exciting.

Phoebe French

I am very in to up-cycling at the moment, I am currently in the middle of re upholstering a chair I rescued from a friend’s house, and it had seen better days...in the 70! so I stripped it down and am covering it in denim. My living room has been covered in scraps of jeans for what seems like forever. It will be done soon I hope as I have plans for some more old chairs.

I love scrabble. As a massive football lover, Saturdays are spent trying to entertain my son and keep an eye on the match. As a Fulham fan its very important to me to have white whites. I don't want a dirty football kit.

Sarah Nicholson

In August 2012 I married my husband Lee, our lovely 4 year old boy Ronnie enjoyed the day with us. In December, along came baby Rory who has made our family complete.

Funny things happen daily in my family, but on a recent trip to the park baby Rory decided he wanted feeding so sat on the picnic bench I started to breast feed him- a little girl struck up conversation with Ronnie. I overheard him telling her that Rory is having his milk from his mummy because we don't have any money for bottles!

Have to admit, I not impressed with the range of the panel - all lovely people I'm sure, but too narrow a choice to represent your brand users (nice to see a bloke there though!)
