Homemade Pizza

Let your kids help make these easy homemade pizzas! They are healthier than a bought pizza and more cost efficient and with three different toppings everyone can enjoy a slice, even your picky kids!


450g of flour, half a teaspoon of dry yeast, 1 tablespoon of caster sugar, 300ml of lukewarm water and a pinch of salt


  1. Mix the sugar and yeast in the water and leave for a few minutes. Mix the flour with the salt in a bowl and make a little well in the middle.
  2. Add the yeast and water and a little olive oil to the well in the flour. Mix everything into the bowl and knead until you get a shiny, elastic dough.
  3. Cover the dough with flour and leave it in a warm place for about an hour until it has doubled in size.
  4. Cut the dough into 4 equal pieces.
  5. Roll out the dough until you have a circle with a diameter of 25 cm.
  6. Add toppings
  7. Cook in a preheated oven at 250°C until crisp and golden.


Chopped tomatoes, 180g of mozzarella per pizza, fresh basil, salt, pepper, olive oil, oregano.

Cover the base with tomatoes, sprinkle on pieces of mozzarella and top with basil leaves, pepper, salt, oregano and a splash of olive oil.

Put salami/pepperoni/ham on top.


Chopped tomatoes, ham, pineapple, 180g of mozzarella per pizza.

Cover the base with tomatoes. Cut the ham and pineapple in little pieces and sprinkle them on the pizza. Finish with the slices of mozzarella.

Pizza au pesto

Jar of pesto, sun-dried tomatoes, 3 different cheeses (e.g. Mozzarella, goat cheese, cheddar).

Cover the base with pesto (so no tomatoes), sprinkle the sun-dried tomatoes and the crumbled cheese on top.
