Gluten-free treat recipes (Chocolate Brownies)

Chocolate Brownies - a yummy, easy to try delight for children and guests who have to maintain a gluten-free diet.


Ingredients (serves 8 people)

  • 2 eggs
  • 175g caster sugar
  • one tsp vanilla extract
  • 100g gluten-free chocolate
  • 75g gluten-free flour
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp gluten-free baking powder.

Directions

  1. Beat together 2 eggs with 175g caster sugar and one teaspoon of vanilla extract.


  2. Stir in 100g gluten-free chocolate then add in 75g gluten-free or rice flour, a pinch of salt and 1 teaspoon of gluten-free baking powder.


  3. Pour into a greased baking tin, then bake for 30 minutes at gas mark 4 (180°C or 350°F).


  4. Cut into brownie sizes when cooled.

My mum has recently been diagnosed as coeliac and is experimenting with gluten free recipes, I'd make them for myself as I've got crohns disease and gluten free does help
