Leftover recipes: apple crumble

Make a great finish for your supper with these easy and cheap idea for leftover apple crumble
Ingredients (serves 5 people)
- half a lemon
- 100g soft brown sugar
- 80g plain flour
- 40g softened butter.
Peel and cut up apples, chopping out any bad bruises but ignoring minor bumps.
Add the apple to a bowl with two tablespoons water and the juice of half a lemon.
Add in 100g soft brown sugar and stir well.
With your fingers blend together 80g plain flour with 40g softened butter and if you have some old biscuits, finely break these up and add in for extra flavour. (Especially gingernuts!)
Cover the apple mixture with the crumble topping and bake for 30 minutes on gas mark 4 (180°C or 350°F).
