A workout glow is easy to achieve - no HIIT required!

1. Wake up your facial muscles

Slapping on a face cream as you rush out the door will hydrate the surface of your skin, but if you want to de-puff, boost circulation and calm your mind you need to put a teeny bit of effort in. There's good news - all it takes is a few moments of massage to make sure your face cream penetrates for best results from your products. I recommend Olay Regenerist Daily 3-point Treatment Cream Moisturiser RRP £29.99, super cream with skin-firming active ingredients like vitamins and peptides, it comes complete with step-by-step massage instructions that are super easy to follow.

2. Unwind your foundation

Foundation will cover flaws, but if you want to brighten and enliven your skin to mimic a fitness glow, then take it down a notch, opting for one of the new skincare/foundation hybrids. This will create a healthy facial. I love to apply my concealer first, around my t-zone, under eyes and on blemishes. Then, massage in a light glow enhancer like Charlotte Tilbury Wonder Glow RRP £38.50. Or try Olay Complexion Corrector Moisturiser SPF 15 RRP £24.99 over face and décolletage. This all-in-one delivers dewiness with a light correcting tint and SPF.

3. Give your eyes a sprinkle of fitness dust

One of the benefits of regular exercise is the sparkle you get in your eyes after a good workout. As being active is thought to aid sleep, calm our mood and get the blood flowing, dark circles and puffy under eyes can become diminished. But, with the right hacks you can fake bright eyes without breaking a sweat. Start by using an eye serum that de-puffs and brightens the look of tired eyes. I recommend Olay Regenerist Eye Lifting Serum RRP £24.99 - gently massage into skin with your ring finger in circular motions. Once fully absorbed, follow up with a tiny bit of Olay's new Ultimate Eye Cream RRP £24.99 patting the colour correcting formula directly onto dark circles for instantly brighter looking eyes.
Tip: for a quick eye perk, lightly soak cotton pads in cold rose water and apply to eyes for 60 seconds.

5. Energise your skin with a respray

Just as a dry shampoo will revive flat, lacklustre hair, giving your skin a quick spritz over makeup can freshen it up. I keep a bottle of Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist RRP £18.00 in the fridge to spray over my complexion whenever my skin is flagging. The product equivalent of a lunchtime fitness class, it recharges makeup and rehydrates skin leaving it looking energised. I also recommend reapplying an eye cream throughout the day. Once you've completed your morning eye ritual, pop a hydrating eye cream in your bag and refresh tired looking eyes whenever they need a pick-me-up. For this, I prefer Olay Eyes Illuminating Eye cream RRP£24.99. The pump dispenser and light reflecting properties make it perfect for applying over makeup.
