As women, we get a lot of mixed messages. On the one hand, we can often feel that we’re not enough – not clever enough, not pretty enough, not a good enough mum.

1. Be true to yourself

Perfection is an unrealistic standard to set yourself. Instead, focus on being you. No one’s life runs perfectly smoothly. Things go wrong all the time, but don’t beat yourself up when they do – reflect and go again!

2. Flip your flaws

If there is something don’t like about yourself, whether that’s a physical feature or a character trait, think about how your friend would describe this aspect of you. The chances are, they’ll put it in a positive light - learn to do that for yourself and you’re winning!

3. Get some sleep

Easier said than done when there are little people waking you up through the night or at the crack of dawn, we know. But everything looks and feels better if you’re rested and refreshed from a decent night’s kip.
