The kitchen floor gets dirty. Always has, always will. There’s no escaping a kitchen spill. But there are tried and tested ways to keep your kitchen floor looking its best. Let’s try to keep it that way…

The kitchen floor is bound to get dirty. Without carpet, it’s more acceptable to spill in the kitchen. It could happen while cooking, during a sneaky midnight snack in the dark – it could even be from the muddy paws of your hairiest family member. The kitchen floor sees all sorts raining down on it. We all know the fate of the kitchen floor, but what are we doing to help its plight? We’ve got to give it a Tender Loving Clean.

Get mopping!
To start with, try and get rid of any large amounts of dust that may have built up on the floor. Using a vacuum will help here. This will mean that your floor is ready to for its clean.

Once that’s done, let’s get the floor wet. Fill a bucket with warm water then add Flash Multi-Surface Concentrated Cleaner into the bucket. You’ll only need to use one squirt, meaning you’ll get lots of clean floors out of one bottle. Flash comes in a range of fresh scents so your cleaning will serve two purposes – it will leave your floor sparkling as well as leaving a lovely smell behind. Dip your mop in to the solution and wring it out. Now, get mopping. Once you’ve given your floor a good mopping all you have to do is wait for the floor to dry. Now you can sit back and enjoy the clean and fresh smell of your lovely kitchen floor.

Well and often
To really care for your kitchen floor, you’ve got to keep this up. Cleaning your floor on a regular basis is the best way to ensure that it’s always looking its best. Making it part of your kitchen clean routine will mean that it’s an easy job and you won’t be facing a mammoth job. The most important thing to remember when taking care of your kitchen floor is to clean it well and do it regularly.
