How to rid your home of nasty pet smells
Love your pets, but not their smell!
We all love our furry friends, our doting dogs and our cuddly cats, but when you cohabit with lovable creatures a certain whiff can enter the air. Whether it’s the lingering smell of wet pet food or a wet dog itself, pets can cause a smell that’s quite an assault to the nose, especially for any guests who might be visiting. It’s time to protect your pet’s modesty - you can never be sure when the next guest might appear!
Be at ease with Febreze
There are a few things you can do to keep your home smelling fresh and clean, but first and foremost, you’ve got to freshen the place up. Refresh your entire home with the Febreze treatment and eliminate those odours. Simply grab a bottle of Febreze Air Effects aerosol and spray throughout your home. If your dog likes to laze on a particular sofa, spray the seat with Febreze Fabric Refresher until damp. Once it’s dry that dog smell should be a thing of the past! Once that’s done, you can focus on a couple of problem areas. If your furry friend is a cat, you’ve probably got a cat litter tray somewhere in the house. When your pet goes to the toilet, you’re the one that has to flush. To avoid smells becoming a problem make sure you empty your cat’s litter tray once a day so that the smell doesn’t linger. You could also try using clumping litter so that you can easily remove the smelly bits instead of emptying the entire tray. Alternatively opt for litter that works to lock in those odours.
Food. Where do you feed your pet? In the kitchen? The smell of wet pet food can be slightly unpleasant if you’re not used to it, so plan your dinner parties so that they don’t clash with your pet’s dinner time. Otherwise, feed your pet elsewhere ahead of having guests over.
You can even keep pet smells at bay by using an Ambi Pur Plug In - why not try one of the many scents available? Keep your house smelling good enough for even the most discerning guest by spraying the place with Febreze, eliminating those unwanted smells.
